PADI Dive Courses

Learn to Dive with Coastal Water Dive, the South West’s only PADI 5 star facility.

Coastal Water Dive Courses are governed by the teaching standards of PADI, this means that all your certifications are recognised internationally, should you choose to travel nationally or internationally.

Learning to scuba dive is often a dream, but it is a dream that can be fulfilled easily.... To begin, you start with your PADI Open Water Course.

PADI Open Water Diver Course

PADI Nitrox Course

PADI Adventure Diver

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

This course teaches you how to scuba dive down to 18 metres, it teaches you about the equipment, the buddy system, underwater hand signals and loads of underwater skills. With two theory sessions, two pool dives and four ocean dives it's a comprehensive course that gives you confidence to continuing diving on your own long after the course has finished.

PADI Rescue Diver Course

Your PADI Rescue Course is next and this course is pure fun! Even if you have no want to go to a professional level, we will guarantee you will want to know how to save your dive buddy should something go wrong. This course teaches you exactly that. With a prerequisite of PADI Open Water, PADI Advanced Open Water and your Senior First Aid Certificate this is a course that gives you lifelong skills.

With just your Open Water Course as a prerequisite you can also do your Nitrox Course - enriched air - which is a theory based course (no diving involved) but teaches you the effect of diving with Nitrox as opposed to just air. Great for all divers especially those that love to dive every weekend and for those wanting to travel and dive that bit deeper.

PADI Divemaster Internship Course

The PADI Dive Master Internship is your first step to Professional Level, this position is all about assisting shops and instructors in teaching, guiding students,

divers through courses and dives. It's a great course to do especially if you are planning to travel and want to have a Dive Master background, this will allow you to work in any Dive Shop as a Dive Master around the world.

The PADI Speciality Courses are many and varied from Deep Diving, Night Diving to Underwater Photography, the courses involve five dives per speciality and after you pass you will be a Specialist Diver in that particular area - great courses for increasing your skills and confidence.

Your PADI Advanced Open Water Course has five components we generally use navigation, deep diving, wreck diving, naturaliste and night diving. The option is that you can just do one of these as an Adventure Dive - not a certification in itself but does teach you Advanced skills in that area or do the whole course and gain your PADI Advanced Open Water Certification which gives you the skills to dive down to 30 metres and for those particular areas. This is a course high in diving and low in theory.
